Privacy policy

This policy explains how Sourcingo Pvt. Ltd. ("Sourcingo", "we") handles the personal details you share with us through sourcingo.in. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we respect the rights of visitors from other countries, including under the EU GDPR.
What we collect
- Details you send us: your name, company or factory name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and anything you write in the enquiry or onboarding forms.
- Files you attach: tech packs, sketches or photos you upload with an enquiry or factory application.
- How you found us: the first page you visited, the site that sent you and any campaign tag in the link. This is kept in your own browser for 90 days and sent with your enquiry, so we know which pages help.
- Factory onboarding details: if you complete our onboarding form, the business, capacity, compliance and reference details it asks for.
- Basic usage data: if analytics is switched on, anonymous information such as pages visited and buttons clicked. We do not use it to identify you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a costing or line plan.
- To review a factory's application and manage our vendor relationship.
- To improve the website.
We use your details only for these purposes, with your consent, which you give when you send a form. We never sell your details.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that help us run the site and reply to you: Google Workspace (Gmail, Forms, Sheets and Drive, where enquiries and attached files are stored), our backup form delivery service (FormSubmit), WhatsApp if you choose to message us there, and, when switched on, Google Analytics. When you place an order, we share the details needed to produce it with the factory making it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in conversation or working together, and up to three years after that for our records, unless the law requires longer. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal details, or withdraw your consent. Write to our grievance contact, Dheeraj Khatri, at dheerajkhatri@sourcingo.in. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
The site itself does not set tracking cookies. It keeps one small record in your browser's local storage of how you first arrived (described above), which you can clear at any time by clearing your browser's site data. If Google Analytics is switched on, it sets its own cookies to count visits.
